Our 20mm basalt gravel consists of black crushed basalt. Distinctly black when wet (and grey when dry), this is the darkest rock found in Australia.
Crushed basalt is often used for pathways, driveways, rockeries, and garden beds. The strong black hue is great for contrasting against lighter coloured walls, concrete edging, and other types of gravel.
It’s one of the most hard-wearing rocks. You can expect it to do its job for many years to come.
