Bedding sand is a natural product that has a variety of applications.
It’s used for laying pavers, sweeping into paver cracks, bedding under concrete slabs, bedding material for pools, spas, and water tanks — and as backfill material for plumbing jobs. It can also be used for blending with topsoils to alter their consistency, for turf underlay (at approximately 10cm depth), and for topdressing lawns.
Bedding sand can also be used in mixes for rendering and plastering.
With a combination of clay and fine silt materials, bedding sand has the consistency needed to hold its shape, making it an ideal base for under slabs and pipes.
Our bedding sand is a suitable alternative to our previously stocked deco sands, including both 1mm deco and screened deco.

This sand is available in cubic metres for bigger landscaping jobs — we can load it into your truck, ute, or trailer. Or pick up a 30L pre-bagged product, perfect for small landscaping jobs and easy to transport in the back of your car.
