Our Brickies Loam is a quality grade sand used by bricklayers (along with cement and lime) to mix mortar for brickwork, including walls and retaining walls.
Other terms used to describe brickies loam include brick sand, fatty sand, and brickie’s sand. With a high clay component, brickies loam is sticky and able to be compressed, allowing it to bond with the bricks and fill gaps nicely, with the excess oozing out at the sides.
This product is suitable for natural mortar, block work, and bagging.
