Redwood chip is a popular product for the garden. This decorative mulch is painted with non-toxic paint, making it safe for animals, children, and (of course) adults.

As a hardwood chip, this mulch lasts a long time before breaking down and will help minimise weed growth, reduce moisture evaporation, and protect your plant roots from hot or cold temperature extremes.

Depending on the elements your garden is exposed to, you can expect your redwood chip mulch to retain its vibrant red colour for around 18 months to 2 years. After this time, you may choose to top it up with another layer of redwood chip to refresh the appearance of your garden.
