Our softfall mulch is an ideal playground mulch. Made from round pine bark, this product is uncontaminated, screened to remove large splinters and dust, and has impact absorption properties. This makes it a safe choice for play areas.
If you decide to use softfall mulch on a playground, make sure you check the Australian Standards. You’ll need to ensure an appropriate depth of loose-fill surfaces. This is normally 300mm+ depending on possible fall heights from equipment.
This product complies with AS4422 – Playground Surfacing.
