The blend includes premium selected sands, saw dust, and high-nutrient chicken manure. This turf blend soil brings together the ideal properties of nutrition, moisture control, and drainage to help improve soil quality ready for turf, level uneven landscapes, and refresh tired lawns through topdressing.

Top dressing can help freshen up your lawn, fill holes, boost nutrients, and encourage healthy growth. Top dressing is normally done during the growing season — when your grass is actively growing. In South-East Queensland, our subtropical climate means we have a long growing season (about September to March).

To calculate the volume of topsoil needed, measure the dimensions of the area you need covered and the depth required. Length (m) x width (m) x depth (m) will give you the correct cubic metres. As a rough guide, topdressing is normally applied at a depth of 5-10mm (0.05-0.1m) at a time.
